Street Style Photographs & Beautiful Things

Most of these photos were taken this past spring during a trip to Paris, which happened to coincide with Fashion Week. We spent time outside the Comme des Garçons, Louis Vuitton, and Zimmermann shows taking photos—an experience that was both thrilling and intimidating, especially as I switched between shooting candids and approaching people for a quick photo (often without knowing exactly who I was stopping). We balanced the fashion chaos with classic sightseeing, including a visit to the Louvre to see the couture exhibition that ultimately convinced us to choose Paris for our break. Viewing masterpieces from designers like Schiaparelli and Alexander McQueen—displayed alongside artwork that inspired or complemented them—was absolutely breathtaking.
